History

Gleninchaquin valley is steeped in history that goes back hundreds of years. Resent research commissioned by the owners can be found in the Heritage Archive /Cultural. There is room for further study and any interested parties should contact Donal be it with information or a desire to share in that research. The Heritage Trail will give a sense of that history as it passes through 40 acres of restored Native Woodland, the valley was once heavily forested, on the way to the 18th century farmstead site, last inhabited in 1895.
